有人说：“中国驾照不能在美国使用。”也有人说：“中国驾照可以在美国使用，没毛病。”那么前往美国的中国游客，如果想要在美国自驾，到底能否在美国使用中国的驾照呢？下面我就为大家介绍一下美国的相关规定。
前面的话
在美国，其实驾照是由各个州发放的，美国联邦政府并不参与这件事儿，因此在美国也就只有各个州的驾照。所以中国驾照是否可以在美国使用，一样也是由各个州来决定的。
下面我借鉴了网上一些大神的翻译，加上我自己的查询，为大家整理了美国各个州对中国驾照的态度，是否可用以及有什么要求。（如果有错误请在留言中指正，以免我误导了大家）
美国各州的态度
在大家看我整理的资料前，我还要再次说一下，由于我的能力或许有限，如果真的发现了错误，还请各位小伙伴在留言中说明，以便后面的小伙伴参考。
❀纽约州（New York）
规定：可以（参考纽约机动车辆部网站）
If you have a driver license from anothercountry you do not need an International Driving Permit, but the permitverifies in several languages that you have a valid driver license.
大意：如果有其它国家驾照需要提供翻译件。
❀犹他州（Utah）
规定：可以（参考犹他州驾驶手册）
Visitors with a valid out-of-state orout-of-country license may drive in Utah for up to six months.
大意：持其他国家有效驾照可以在犹他州开车6个月。（必须满16岁喔！）
❀华盛顿州（Washington）
规定：可以（参考华盛顿议会授权的一份关于导游、司机、非居民和游客的架势规定）
If you are a nonresident or a short-termvisitor, you can operate a motor vehicle in this state if you have a validdriver license from your home state, province, territory, or country and youare at least 16 years old.
大意：年满16岁并持有自己国家的有效驾照。（不过这份文件没有提到华盛顿特区喔，别开错地方）
❀华盛顿特区
规定：应该可以（参考哥伦比亚机动车辆部网站）

❀夏威夷州（Hawaii）
规定：可能不行（参考夏威夷政府檀香山网站FAQ）

大意：国外有效驾照可以在夏威夷使用1年。（可是在之后的6月份，改网站更新了一条FAQ表示国外驾照必须配合IDP同时使用）
❀加利福尼亚州（California）
规定：可以（参考加利福尼亚州机动车辆局网站）

大意：拥有其他国家有效驾照并年满18岁的可以上路，但是如果来定居则必须在10天内考取加利福尼亚州驾照。
❀科罗拉多州（Colorado）
规定：30天内应该没问题
我在网上没有查询到相关额官方说法，不过在在论坛中有在科罗纳多州留学的小伙伴说，学校告诉留学生，其他国家驾照只能在科罗纳多州使用30天，超出必须申请科罗纳多州驾照。
❀康涅狄格州（Connecticut）
规定：应该可以，但仅限1年内（参考康涅狄格州机动车辆局网站）

Connecticut permits a student orvisitor to operate a motor vehicle in Connecticut for a period of up to oneyear with his or her foreign license. 大意：其他国家驾照1年内可以上路，如果是使用英语或西班牙语外的其他语言，自必须和国际驾照一同使用。
不过网上有网友表示，曾经将中国驾照拿到康涅狄格州认可的翻译出进行翻译，配合原件，也一样可以上路。
❀亚利桑那州（Arizona）
规定：可以（参考亚利桑那州交通部的FAQ）

大意：拥有有效的外国驾照可以在亚利桑那州使用
❀阿拉斯加州（Alaska）
规定：可以，但只允许上路90天（参考阿拉斯加州机动车管理局）

大意：拥有其他国家有效驾照并年满16岁，可以在阿拉斯加州行驶不超过90天（如果需要超出请申请阿拉斯加州驾照）。
❀阿肯色州（Arkansas）
规定：可能不可以使用
阿肯色州我并没有找到相关的规定，不过根据阿肯色州留学论坛中的网友表示，必须准备中国驾照+国际驾照才可以在阿肯色州驾驶，而中国大陆是没有的。
❀特拉华州（Delaware）
规定：可能不行，规定是可以，但是有网友表示层咨询过特拉华州相关部门，被告知必须有国际驾照。（参考特拉华州机动车辆司）

❀佛罗里达州（Florida）
规定：可以（参考佛罗里达州公路安全和机动车辆部网站FAQ）

规定：可以（参考乔治亚州驾驶员服务部网址）

❀伊利诺伊州（Illinois）
规定：可以（参考伊利诺伊州法律援助网）
在伊利诺伊州的法律援助网上有提到其他国家驾照可以在伊利诺伊州使用90天。
❀印第安纳州（Indiana）
规定：应该可以
有网友层咨询过印第安纳州DMV（交通管理部门）是否可以使用其他国家驾照。得到的回复是只要有英文或提供可以核实的英文翻译件就可以。
❀爱荷华州（Iowa）
规定：可以（参考爱荷华州交通部网站提供的驾驶执照说明）
You do not need an Iowa driver’s license ifyou […] are a student or visitor and have a current license from your homestate or country.
大意：如果你是游客、学生可以平其他国家驾照开车。
❀堪萨斯州（Kansas）
规定：可以（参考堪萨斯州高速公路巡逻队网站）

❀阿拉巴马州（Alabama）

❀肯塔基州（Kentucky）
规定：不可以
在肯塔基州运输局网站中有提到承认的其他国家驾照名单中包含台湾、香港、澳门却没有中国。
❀路易斯安那州（Louisiana）
规定：应该不行（参考路易斯安那州公共安全服务部）
Non-residents who possess a valid licenseissued by another state. You are permitted to drive in this state for a periodof 90 days.
大意：上文中的another state我感觉应该是其它州的意思而并非其它国家。
❀缅因州（Maine）
规定：应该可以（参考缅因州机动车辆管理局网站）
Who May Operate a Motorcycle or Moped？
Any resident of the state who has amotorcycle permit or a valid Maine motorcycle license. Any nonresidentpossessing a valid motorcycle license from the state or country of their legalresidence.
大意：拥有其他国家的应该也行。（上文其实说的摩托车，不过我觉得应该也可以开车）
❀马里兰州（Maryland）
规定：可以（参考马里兰州议会协会提供的一份运输文件）
The individual has a valid license to driveissued to the individual by the country of residence；
大意：持有居住国发的驾照。（上文是在马里兰州可以开车的情况的一种，还有一条很重要，必须满18岁）
❀马萨诸塞州（Massachusetts）
规定：不可以（马萨诸塞州官方FAQ）
可能由于马萨诸塞州平时游客太多，违反规定驾驶的游客也多，所以官网特别准备了一个FAQ，其中有提到：在马萨诸塞州开车不一定要国际驾照，但是它们只承认一些国家，包含了台湾、相关、澳门却不包括中国大陆。
❀密歇根州（Michigan）
规定：不可以（参考密歇根州州政府提供的相关文件）
在这份文件中提到：These countries include: China （Taiwan）, Hong Kong, Macao…….大概大家一定都明白了，又是大陆的不被承认。
❀明尼苏达州（Minnesota）
规定：可以（参考明尼苏达州驾驶员手册）
You are a nonresident who is at least 15years of age and have in your possession a valid driver’s license issued to youin your home state or country.
大意：在明尼苏达州的驾驶员手册中有提到，15岁以上并获得自己国家的有效驾照可以开车。
❀密苏里州（Missouri）
规定：可以（参考密苏里州大会官网）
A nonresident who is at least sixteen yearsof age and who has in his immediate possession a valid license issued to him inhis home state or country.
大意：持有自己国家有效驾照且年满16岁即可。
❀内华达州（Nevada）
规定：可以（参考内华达州议会网址）
A nonresident who is at least 16 years ofage and who has in his or her immediate possession a valid license issued tothe person in his or her home state or country may drive a motor vehicle inthis State of the type or class the person may operate in that home state orcountry.
大意：年满16岁且持有自己国家的驾照就可以。
❀新泽西州（New Jersey）
规定：不可以（参考新泽西州机动车辆委员会网站）
Qualifying countries from United NationsConvention on Road Traffic, Geneva （1949）, Convention on the Regulation ofInter-American Motor Vehicle Traffic, Washington, D.C., （1943） and ViennaConvention on Road Traffic （1968）.
大意：新泽西州只承认三个公约的签署国的驾照，不包括中国。
其它允许的州
蒙大拿州（Montana）：可以；新罕布什尔州（New Hampshire）：应该可以；罗得岛州（Rhode Island）：可以；南卡罗来纳州（South Carolina）：可以；田纳西州（Tennessee）：可以；弗吉尼亚州（Virginia）：可以；西弗吉尼亚州（West Virignia）：可以；
新墨西哥州（New Mexico）：也许可以（为啥说也许可以，因为官方没有说明，但是在一个驾校的介绍里模糊表达了可以使用）；
北卡罗来纳州（North Carolina）：应该可以；北达科他州（North Dakota）：可以；奥克拉荷马州（Oklahoma）：可以；俄勒冈州（Oregon）：也许可以（却建议携带国际驾照，所以感觉有点悬乎）；
宾夕法尼亚州（Pennsylvania）：应该可以（因为规定必须熟知交通信号，如果违反规定被交警拦截则无话可说）。
其它不允许的州
内布拉斯加州（Nebraska）：不可以；俄亥俄州（Ohio）：不可以；德克萨斯州（Texas）：不可以；佛蒙特州（Vermont）：不可以；威斯康星州（Wisconsin）：不可以；
南达科他州（South Dakota）：可能不行，因为官方给的文件是建议和交通部门联系确认，呵呵哒。
中国驾照在美国使用的提醒
1.首先要确保中国驾照有效并随身携带；
2.如果可以尽量去大使馆将自己的护照翻译并盖章（虽然很大几率工作人员不理你）；
3.在前往美国自驾前先熟悉一下美国的交通规则和各种指示牌；
4.我建议各位在去美国自驾前做好功课，比如了解一下美国的驾驶员手册、如何面对警察的检查等；
5.如果你有美国绿卡那么就不能使用其他国家驾照了；
6.在中国是不承认不颁发国际驾照的，如果有人声称可以给你办理国际驾照，呵呵；
7.如果你想去美国自驾，签证办理好了吗？
